19 Objective of the Course: The main objectives of the course; *To strengthen the ties between the university and the society by using the knowledge, skills and experience that students have acquired throughout their education life. * Students' humanitarian, social, economic, etc. to help them gain awareness about the problems. *To ensure the development of human, social, cultural, moral values and skills through some volunteer activities that students will participate and perform. *To increase visibility and awareness in the society on issues of high social sensitivity such as disability life, migration and disaster. *To ensure that students take part in voluntary work for a period of time within a plan to be prepared in advance in a volunteering field of their choice and share their results.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development By creating awareness through volunteering activities, students will be provided with the awareness of volunteering before starting their professional life. The growth of children as useful individuals to society is related to the presence of adults who are models for them. Therefore, it is important that professionals who will work with children are volunteers.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To be able to explain the concept of volunteering,;
2 Gaining awareness about various issues, especially disadvantaged groups,;
3 Gaining awareness about the acquisition of human, social and moral values;
4 To be able to discuss social problems.;
5 To be able to comprehend the importance of volunteering practices.;
6 To be able to develop a positive attitude towards taking part in volunteering activities as a volunteer.;
7 To be able to explain the contribution of volunteering work to his professional career and personal development,;
8 To be able to present examples of volunteering practices implemented in Turkey and in the world.;
9 Being able to prepare and maintain a project within the scope of volunteering activities;
