Objective of the Course:
The course aims to offer an option to complement the constitutional law course that students take in their first year, especially in terms of practice.

Contribution of the Course to Professional Development
In our system, where almost all branches of law have been constitutionalized, learning the individual application mechanism, implemented as an effective protection mechanism for fundamental rights and freedoms, will contribute to our students' legal education and subsequent professional practice.

Learning Outcomes:

Understanding the emergence of constitutionalism and constitutional review.;

Revealing the place of individual application mechanisms in modern constitutions, one of the types of application to the Constitutional Court.;

Comprehending the importance of individual application mechanism in Turkish constitutional law;

Understanding the relationship between the mechanism of individual application to the Constitutional Court and the ECHR/ECHR, to grasp the parallelism;
5
Learning the admissibility criteria of the individual application;
6
Analyzing how the Constitutional Court evaluates violations of rights in individual applications;
7
In particular, examining the constitutional rights that are found to be violated the most among the individual application decisions in Turkey.;
