19 Objective of the Course: The aim of the course is to describe structure and functions of kidney.

2 Blood flow of kidneys
3 nephron, structure of nephron
4 Proximal tubules, henle handle, Distal tubules, collecting channels
5 Jugstaglomerular apparatus and its constituent cells
6 Pressure differences in the renal circulation
7 reabsorption of water, glucose, bicarbonate, potassium calcium, phosphate, sodium and chlorine
8 Urine concentration by Henle handle and vasa recta
9 The task of the distal tubules
10 Clearance
11 Maximal transport in the kidneys
12 Comparative renal physiology
13 Kidney metabolism
14 Micturition
