Objective of the Course: |
The course objective is to present the students and teach them the first two periods of English Literature, namely Old English Period and Middle English Period, to occupy them with the knowledge of the leading political, social and religious events of the time as well as the literary ones. |

Contribution of the Course to Professional Development |
The course will contribute to the students’ professional development by providing them with the culture, lifestyle, and history of those people who are the native speakers of the language they are to teach. The students are encouraged to be open-minded for different ideas and worldviews. |
