19 Objective of the Course: The main purpose of the Career Planning Course is; To create career awareness in students, to ensure that students have information about different sectors, to recognize the tools they can use for their own development, and to direct them to the areas where they will be most productive and happy. With this course, it is aimed that university students create career awareness about the expectations of business life, plan their working life after graduation by evaluating their learning processes in the best way, choose a job and profession in the fields that are suitable for their qualifications, and shape their careers in the fields suitable for their own skills, abilities and competencies.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Career planning should be seen as a long-term journey. For this reason, the individual should carefully consider his career development and process it like a silk cocoon. This course, which is thought to help the career planning process of first year university students, is thought to embody the career planning process of the individual as a guide.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Being able to inform about the skills that are the key to making a difference in the career path;
2 To be able to explain career and career-related concepts;
3 Giving students information about their departments;
4 To provide students with information about the department to improve themselves.;
5 Informing students about career center, central library and community activities;
6 To inform students about intelligence, theories about intelligence, types of intelligence, the relationship between intelligence and career planning.;
7 To be able to give information about the concepts of knowledge, skill, talent and competence;
8 Being able to inform about the skills that are the key to making a difference in the career path;
