19 Objective of the Course: Gain knowledge and skills the basic concept of pheasant, partridge, duck and goose farming
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Learning about alternative poultry species such as pheasant, partridge, duck and goose breeding contributes to its development by applying this knowledge in the professional field.

1 Knows the pheasant, partridge, duck and goose farming in Turkey and in the world;
2 Knows morphological, physiological and behavioral characteristics of pheasant, partridge, duck and goose;
3 Knows important breeds of pheasant, partridge, duck and goose in the world;
4 Knows care feeding and management issues in pheasant, partridge, duck and goose farming;
5 Knows reproduction and hatchery management in pheasant, partridge, duck and goose farming;
6 Knows features evaluation and marketing of duck and goose products and the status of production and consumption;
7 Knows features evaluation of partridge and pheasants in hunting sector;
8 Knows pheasant, partridge, duck and goose diseases and the ways to avoid from them ;
