19 Objective of the Course: Authentic Quran Recitation and Tajwid Applications: One of the fundamental aims of the Quran course is to equip students with the ability to recite the Holy Quran correctly and beautifully. In this regard, a significant part of the course focuses on the science of Tajwid. Tajwid is the art of reciting the Quran by observing the articulation points (where the letters originate) and characteristics of the Quranic letters, giving each letter its due. Through this course, students will theoretically learn the indispensable rules of Tajwid for an authentic Quran recitation and will gain the skill to apply these rules through practical exercises. Competence in Reading and Memorizing the Quran Text: Learning and applying the rules of Tajwid forms the basis for students to be able to read the text of the Holy Quran correctly and fluently from the page. At the same time, these acquisitions help students maintain the correct pronunciation and integrity of meaning while memorizing. The course aims to enable students to feel confident and become competent in both reading from the page and memorization processes. In this way, students more consciously take on the responsibility of preserving the exact wording of the Quran and transmitting it to future generations.
