19 Objective of the Course: To recognize the student's study of the history of religions in the Muslim world and in the West; to understand the religions' history, basic beliefs and practices.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development The course provides the ability to compare religions in terms of similar, different and common points and to establish a healthy communication based on knowledge with other religious members.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Student defines the terms of religion, history and history of religions;;
2 Evaluates religious studies both in Islam and the West;;
3 Discerns the place and importance of religion in the history of the world;;
4 Classifies religions from various angles;;
5 Distinguishes basic beliefs, practices and ethical principles of the living religions;;
6 Interprets basic teachings and messages of the scriptures within the framework of sample texts;;
7 Can compare religions in terms of their similar, different and common points;;
8 Analyzes the separation processes and common grounds in religions;;
9 Interprets traditional and modern sects and recent trends in religions;;
10 Carries out the basic principles of the reliable interreligious dialogue that is relied upon sound information.;
