19	Objective of the Course:	To comprehend the historical development of Turkish language (Ural-) Altaic languages theory, periods of Turkish language, to be aware of written (standard or literary) and spoken language types and products of historical Turkish language.

1 Understands the place of Turkish language among world languages.; 2 Have knowledge about the stages of Turkish language in the historical process.; 3 Gain awareness about the oral and written sources of Turkish.; 4 Gets knowledge about Karakhanid Turkish Period features and works.; 5 Have knowledge about Kipchak Turkish and period works.; 6 Have knowledge about Khwarezm, Chagatai Turkish and period works; 7 To gain awareness about Old Anatolian Turkish Period.; 8 Gain awareness on Ottoman Turkish and Modern Turkish dialects.;
