19 Objective of the Course: To comprehend the historical development of Turkish language (Ural-) Altaic languages theory, periods of Turkish language, to be aware of written (standard or literary) and spoken language types and products of historical Turkish language.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development To comprehend the historical development of the Turkish language (Ural-) To learn the theory of Altaic languages, the periods of the Turkish language, the written (standard or literary) and spoken language types and products of the historical Turkish language.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Understands the place of Turkish language among world languages.;
2 Have knowledge about the stages of Turkish language in the historical process.;
3 Gain awareness about the oral and written sources of Turkish.;
4 Gets knowledge about Karakhanid Turkish Period features and works.;
5 Have knowledge about Kipchak Turkish and period works.;
6 Have knowledge about Khwarezm, Chagatai Turkish and period works;
7 To gain awareness about Old Anatolian Turkish Period.;
8 Gain awareness on Ottoman Turkish and Modern Turkish dialects.;
