19 Objective of the Course: To introduce students with basic sociological concepts and subjects.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Gains the ability to use basic concepts at academic level.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Enables learning of the main conceptual framework ofsociology;
2 Enables the application of conceptual framework in the Turkish historical and social context.;
3 Develops a fundamental understanding of the relationships between sociology and the wider sociological knowledge and engenders a conceptualization of relevant social processes;
4 Develops a comparative perspective between the social processes prevalent in sociology and the practical applications lived in everyday life.;
5 Enables an in-depth understanding of the main debates of sociology and its comparative reflections in the global social relationships;
6 Engenders a comprehensive understanding of sociology, helps enable a thorough knowledge of the fundamental literature.;
