19 Objective of the Course: The aim of this course is to give pre-service teachers basic information about Semantics, using Turkish with the subtleties of meaning and how to use words.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Knows the key concepts of semantics and uses language in a regular way according to written and verbal semantic features.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Knows the history of semantics.;
2 Explain the key concepts related to semantics.;
3 Uses the language in a regular way according to its written and spoken meaning features.;
4 Recognizes the methods, principles and techniques of grammar teaching.;
5 Learns the acquisitions of semantics in Turkish Education Program.;
6 Understands the sentence which is the source of the information and the meaning in the sentence.;
7 Have information about the works made and published in the field of semantics and their contents.;
8 Learns the methods and techniques in teaching the meaning of the word.;
9 Gains knowledge and skills about how to use methods and techniques of semantics applications in Turkish lessons.;
10 Knows that the language will be given to students carefully and correctly through Semantics and Applications course.;

3 Introducing and revealing the possibilities, limits and latent power of the language by teaching the meaning of the word
4 The meaningful and correct use of words with semantic teaching activities while reaching the goals with comprehension and explanation techniques in mother tongue teaching
5 Semantic features of Turkish language (at word level, sentence level);
6 Semantic features of Turkish language (at word level, sentence level);
7 Semantic features of Turkish language (at word level, sentence level);
8 Semantic features of Turkish language (at word level, sentence level); scope; synonyms, antonyms, synonyms;
9 Semantic features of Turkish language (at word level, sentence level); polysemy; progressive semantics,
10 Semantic features of Turkish language (at word level, sentence level); meaning change, meaning expansion, meaning narrowing;
11 Semantic features of Turkish language (at word level, sentence level); statement transfer, name transfer
12 Semantic features of Turkish language (word level, sentence level), verbal arts.
