19 Objective of the Course: To learn the Ottoman financial system and cash foundations.

1 Getting to know the general structure of the Ottoman economy;
2 Knowing the basic principles of the Ottoman economic and financial system;

4 Knowing cash foundations and their financial functions;
5 Knows the functioning of cash foundations, knows the financial transactions in cash foundations;
6 Knowing Avariz foundations and their basic functioning;
7 Knowing the tradesmen, orta, aytâm funds and their operation;
8 Knowing the timar, tax farm and malikane systems and their functioning;
9 Getting to know the Ottoman monetary system;
10 Knowing the changes in financial instruments during the Ottoman modernization period;
