19 Objective of the Course: To provide students with the perspective that environmental problem is not just a simple issue of pollution; that the issue is concerned with all fields of our cultural and socio-economic life.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development This course will enable the student to take environmental impacts into consideration in the decision-making process.

1 To have the intellectual background to comprehend global problems about environment.;
2 To have the intellectual background to comprehend global problems about environment.;
3 To be able to install the connection between environmental problems and ethics.;
4 To identify the factors that cause the environmental problems.;
5 To be able to analyze the link between environmental protection and economic growth.;
6 To be able to assess the environment-human relationship in the context of the information society and consumer culture.;

8 To have knowledge about legal regulations related to environmental protection.;

Measurement and Evaluation Techniques Used in the Course Course success is measured by 1 midterm and 1 final exam held during the semester. In the exams, mixed exam technique, in which multiple choice and written methods are used together, is applied.
