19 Objective of the Course: The aim of this course is to inform students on the phases of Turkish democracy history from the beginning of the modern political system. In addition, it is aimed to make students be able to make inward assessments by discussing the community’s awareness of the true meaning of democracy and to what extent they internalize democratic values.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development To get informed on the phases of Turkish democracy history from the beginning of the modern political system.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To be able to comprehend the processes of Turkish democracy history;
2 To have information about political institutions;
3 To have information about constitutions ;
4 To have ability of objective evaluation of the political events;
5 To gain the ability of predicting the future by evaluating the political process in the past;
6 To interpret domestic politics in universal dimension;
7 To be able to judge cases at vertical and horizontal processes;
8 To have information about the development of democracy culture in the world and in Turkey;
9 To possess the knowledge to assess the level of democracy in society;
