19 Objective of the Course: This course aims to understand the effects of the digital society and capitalism on labor markets and production organizations
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development To comprehend the societal effects of digital work organizations and management practices.

1 To understand digital society and its labour relations ;
2 To understand contemporary work organizations and their effects on wage laborers;
3 To comprehend the new institutional structures and power relations in digital capitalism;
4 To evaluate the relationship between society and technology in 21st-century societies through realistic perspectives.;

2 Data driven society: Algorithmic economy, digital commodities and new meanings of production
3 Data colonialism: New power relations and social inequalities.

6 The concept of digital labour and debates
7 Platform economy and gig workers
