19 Objective of the Course: Giving detailed information about different manifestations of sufism in modern muslim and non-muslim countries and making comparisions between them.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Knowing the current status of the field allows the researchers to do more qualified studies not only in the context of Sufism, but also in many areas, especially international relations.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Gaining comprehensive information about the transmission of sufism into modern period.;
2 Bringing out into the open the interest of Orientalistic scholarship towards sufism.;
3 Analyzing the viewpoints of religious and philosophical mystical systems.;
4 Designating mystical and non-mystical aspects of Sufism in modern Turkey.;
5 Identifying contemporary mystical currents and their impacts in modern world.;
6 Making analysis about directing criticism against sufism.;
