19 Objective of the Course: The aim of the course introducing the student’s graduate school plant diversity in Turkey. Also available for in situ conservation of plant diversity law, regulations, on-site learning the methods of prevention. Thus knowing that students will plant diversity in the field of botanical studies, aimed to be more successful.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Contribution of the course to professional development; students to recognize the plant diversity in Turkey over the existing laws for the protection of plant diversity, regulations, learning the profession of in situ conservation methods will ensure more successful than his work in the field of botany.

Week Theoretical Practical
1 Endemic and rare plants, endemic, relict, enclaves, invasive species, species living dead, extinction to introduce the concepts.
2 Reason for the occurrence of endemic and rare species and determination of gene centers.
3 The status of endemic and rare plants in Turkey and Endemism in Turkey.
4 Geographical areas being rich in endemic and rare species.
5 Endemic and rare species on the distribution areas of the world.
6 The relationship between biodiversity and endemism.
7 Factors threatening the endemism and rare species.
8 Economically important endemic, rare and endangered plants.
9 Is there a relationship between a number of endemic and rare species with extinctions of these species in an area?
10 Is there a relationship between endemism and extinction? endangered species, endemic species.
11 Endangerment status of endemic and rare species (IUCN categories).
12 Usage areas of endemic and rare plants.
13 Endemic and rare plants smuggled abroad causes and the necessary precautions are taken.
