19 Objective of the Course: The aim of the lesson is to analyse the economic and financial resources of the Turkish National Struggle and to get student to comprehend the economic problems within the framework of economic policies
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development To analyse the economic and financial resources of the Turkish National Struggle and to comprehend the economic problems within the framework of economic policies.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Learn about the basic problems of Turkey's economic situation during the Turkish National War;
2 Comprehends the acquisition of the Turkish National Struggle under what conditions and what a great sacrifice;
3 Associates the scarce resources with unlimited needs in the time of war and learns the use of optimum allocation of economic resources.;
4 Learns about the means of force used in the solving of economic problems in Turkey. ;
5 Compares the Economic policies of the National Struggle period and the policies followed in earlier periods.;
6 Understands the concept of economic independence of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.;
7 Understand the importance of national unity and the national elements in the extraordinary period experiencing the war. ;
8 Bear responsibility about the country issues as a member of the republic;
9 Evaluates the Turkish Revolution with dimension of socio-economic ;

1 The perceptions of war economy of macroconomic theories and the bound teory of Alan Peacock and Jock Wiseman
2 The analysis of means of national force and the economic status of Turkısh National Struggle period
3 The status of the armed forces in the national defence: army, navy, air force
4 The possibilities of transportation in the national defence: road, railway, sea transport.
5 The human resources and public health in the national defence. The population and the population distribution
6 The financial resources in the national defence: budget, public expenditures, state revenue, administration dept, external debt
7 The financing of Anatolia movement in the period of integration.(The financing of the congress of Erzurum and Sivas)
8 The financing of national forces. (The financing of the Congress of Balıkesir, Nazilli, Alaşehir and İzmir)
9 The internal aids
10 The foreign aids: (The aids of Soviet Union, the Turkish world, the French aid, the Indian Muslims)
11 The economic resources in the period of 1920-1922.
12 The financial and economic resources in the Turkish large scale attack and after this attack.
13 The importance of Lausanne economically and the abolition of the capitulations
