19 Objective of the Course: To introduce the expansion areas of Turkish communities, the history and culture of the Turkish language, and the Turkish dialects and cultures alive today; To be able to see how the literary texts of the Turkish world were created and their differences in language. To introduce the cultural characteristics of Turkish communities.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Understands the Turkish world. Understands the cultures of Turkish communities. Knows language awareness by understanding the characteristics of Turkish dialects and comparing them with Turkey Turkish. Examines written texts in the Turkish world.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Students get to know the homeland and expansion areas of the Turks.;
2 Students understand the historical development of the Turkish language.;
3 Students get to know Turkish communities, Turkish dialects and cultures.;
4 Students read literary texts written in the relevant dialect.;
5 Students learn the grammatical features of Turkish dialects in different groups.;

1 Introduction of reference books, content and objectives of the course. General information about the homeland of Turkish and its spread areas.
2 Historical development of the Turkish language and current Turkish dialects.
3 Azerbaijani Turks: Azerbaijani culture, alphabet and language features in Azerbaijani Turkish. Text review.
4 Turkmen Turks: Turkmen culture, alphabet and language features in Turkmen Turkish. Text review.
5 Uzbek Turks: Uzbek culture, alphabet and language features in Uzbek Turkish. Text review.
6 Uyghur Turks: Uyghur culture, alphabet and language features in Uyghur Turkish. Text review.
7 Kazakh Turks: Kazakh culture, alphabet and language features in Kazakh Turkish. Text review.
