19 Objective of the Course: To provide knowledge and basic clinical skills on caries removal, cavity preparation principles, matrix systems and wedge applications, selection and manipulation of direct restorative materials.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Ability to make diagnosis and treatment planning, remove caries tissue correctly and appropriately, restore remaining tooth tissue correctly with appropriate materials, and gain the necessary knowledge and skills on the subject.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Positions the patient appropriately and takes history.;
2 Makes diagnosis and treatment planning.;
3 Uses hand tools and burs for direct restoration.;
4 It removes caries tissue and prepares the cavity.;
5 Performs direct manipulations of restorative materials.;
6 It restores proper anatomy and occlusion.;
7 Performs finishing and polishing operations.;
