19 Objective of the Course: Mastering the dynamics of interpersonal relationships facilitates the psychological counseling services offered by students in the guidance and psychological counseling department to couples.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development The psychological theories and models of close relationships provide students with a comprehensive understanding of how relationships develop and are maintained. This theoretical framework allows students to assess relationship dynamics in the counseling process and shape their interventions accordingly.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Can comprehend the psychological theories, models, and concepts of close relationships.;
2 Can analyze various types of relationships (romantic, familial, friendship, etc.) and the effects of these relationships on health, happiness, and individual development.;
3 Gains knowledge about healthy communication techniques, effective listening skills, and conflict resolution strategies, and can apply them.;
4 Develops the ability to understand individuals' emotional needs and experiences in different relationship contexts.;
5 Upon entering the profession, they can approach their clients in a more empathetic and understanding manner.;
6 Acquires the skill to review current research on relationships, and to evaluate these studies using critical thinking and scientific approaches.;
7 Can evaluate their own relationships and emotional reactions.;
8 Can effectively intervene in relationship problems and conflicts.;
9 Thanks to the knowledge acquired, one can effectively use this information in psychological counseling and therapy processes.;
10 They effectively cope with relational problems in their professional lives.;

5 According to theories on close relationships (social models: social exchange theory; social learning theory; social ecological models).
6 Conflict, Dispute, and Argument in Close Relationships.
7 Infidelity and Violence in Close Relationships.
8 Sexuality in Close Relationships.
9 Attraction in Close Relationships.
10 Effective communication in close relationships.
11 Techniques in Pre-Marital Psychological Counseling.
