19 Objective of the Course: In this course, teaching basic knowledges about diplomatic history and in this context, to contribute construction of formation and substructure of other IR department courses which was taken or will be taken by students during their undergraduate education properly is purposing. Toward this purpose, development of civilizations and revolutions in this process (American Revolution, French Revolution, The Congress of Vienna, 1830-1848 Revolutions, Industrial Revolution and conclusions of Industrian Revolution) is explaining. Also related to content of course, foreign policy of Ottoman Empire and Turkish War of Independence is analysed within the context of causes, process and conclusions of World War I elaborately.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Students will contribute to the analysis of current developments in the course.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Students; To have knowledge about the historical development of Turkish-Armenian relations.;
2 To be able to identify problematic areas / issues in Turkish-Armenian relations;
3 To have knowledge about the policies of other States and international organizations that are effective in Turkish-Armenian relations.;
4 To be able to interpret the current developments in Turkish-Armenian relations analytically by reading the sources in Turkish and foreign literature.;
