19 Objective of the Course: The objective of this course is to investigate the basic structure of grammar in Ancient Greek language and to analyze the simple historical and philosophical texts or notions that had been written in Ancient Greek.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Understanding the content of a large number of Ancient Greek-origin words in modern languages; through the taught Greek prefixes and suffixes; analyzing simple philosophical concepts or expressions
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Gain the knowledge of the basic structure of grammar in Ancient Greek language;
2 Use the knowledge of the basic notions or structure of grammar in Ancient Greek language;
3 Make analysis by using the knowledge of the basic structure of grammar in Ancient Greek language;
4 Comprehend the simple texts by the knowledge of the basic structure of grammar in Ancient Greek language;
5 Interpret the simple texts by the knowledge of the basic structure of grammar in Ancient Greek language.;
6 To learn Ancient Greek philosophical terms with their etymological review;
7 To learn modern words which come from Ancient Greek roots;
8 To be able to guess unknown compound nouns by learning Ancient Greek prepositions;
9 To understand Ancient Greek philosophical words, sets in texts;
10 To learn Ancient Greeks' notion with its' culturel-linguistic specialities;
