Objective of the Course:
The main purpose of this course is to gain the ability to make an analyze of the development throughout the history of this culture giving general information about the Turkish Sufi culture..

Learning Outcomes:

To gain the ability to comprehend the effects of mysticism on the cultures throughout the history.;

To improve the knowledge about the sufi movements that emerged throughout the History of Islam providing information about the effects of sufism on societies.;

To learn and assess the knowledge about the effects of the Sufism on the branches as the culture, social sciences and the art.;

Introducing the sources and resources, to gain a research method on this subject for who wants to research.;

To comprehend the contributions of the sufism to the history of Turkish culture.;

To learn the effects of the sufism and sufi religious orders on the history of turkish culture.;

Understanding the role of the Akhis (Ahi) organization on tradesman guilds.;
