19 Objective of the Course: As cities and architectural works enrich touristic experiences; it is important to understand this interrelationship between culture, heritage, architecture and tourism. The aim of the course is to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to gain different perspectives from a tourism perspective and to increase their awareness of cultural heritage by evaluating examples of architectural products accepted as world cultural heritage in tourism cities in the context of cultural heritage.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development From a tourism perspective, it will help increase the awareness of cultural heritage by evaluating examples of architectural products accepted as world cultural heritage in tourism cities in the context of cultural heritage.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Gains the ability to recognize, find and evaluate the elements within the scope of Cultural Heritage.;
2 Gains the ability to evaluate the elements within the scope of Cultural Heritage in terms of tourism and cities.;
3 Gains the skill of compiling and analyzing, criticizing and interpreting the information given in the field of Cultural Heritage in the world of knowledge and thought.;
4 Gains the knowledge and equipment skills to deepen the knowledge in the field of cultural elements and to do postgraduate studies.;
5 Gains the skill of bringing cultural elements to the national and universal, preparing them for new and current productions, keeping them alive and spreading them with the knowledge they have acquired.;
6 Gains the confidence and competence to follow and contribute to the cultural heritage lists of humanity prepared within the framework of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Convention.;
7 Gains the ability to evaluate cultural products within the framework of tourism cities and architecture, and to develop suggestions for cultural reproduction.;
