19 Objective of the Course: To provide the student with the knowledge, skills and attitudes to manage and lead nursing services, taking into account the changing needs, in the light of the basic concepts, theory, legal and ethical principles of management and nursing management, which will enable them to provide safe, evidence-based and quality care in every environment where nursing service is provided.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development It enables nursing students to comprehend the functioning of nursing services, to analyze and solve problems, to understand their professional position, legal obligations, and powers and responsibilities within the healthcare team.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Adapts the basic principles, concepts, theories and processes of management science to nursing services management.;
2 Discusses the structure and operation of nursing services management in the health system.;
3 Discusses health policies, health system and legal regulations related to nursing.;
4 Reports the communication between nurse, manager nurse, health team and patient in health institutions.;
5 Evaluates strategies suitable for the resolution of conflicts.;
6 It uses scientific problem solving and evidence-based decision making approach in solving problems.;
7 Realizes the importance of leading the management of nursing services.;
8 Plans the change process in line with the needs in nursing services.;
9 It adopts the roles and responsibilities related to quality management and patient safety in the delivery of nursing services.;
10 Adopts lifelong learning in career planning.;
