19 Objective of the Course: Along with the history of the Middle East, researching, discussing and evaluating political practices and theories related to the geopolitical (geoeconomic and geocultural) counterpart of the area, defined as the Middle East, on the basis of its borders, countries and certain geographical features.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Along with the history of the Middle East, it is active in gaining the practice of reaching, discussing and evaluating political practices and theories related to their geopolitical (geoeconomic and geocultural) counterpart on the basis of the borders, countries and certain geographical features of the area defined as the Middle East.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To know, criticize and discuss the literature on the concept, emergence and borders of the Middle East.;
2 To be able to evaluate geoeconomic and geocultural dynamics within the Middle East geopolitics.;
3 To be able to evaluate Ibn Khaldun and the concept of "Companions" in understanding the Middle Eastern geoculture.;
4 To have a basic knowledge of the literature on Middle Eastern history and to be able to criticize its content.;
5 To have a wide level of literature knowledge about the Middle East and to be able to evaluate the content.;
6 To have knowledge of the literature about the social and cultural structure of the Middle East and to be able to evaluate the content.;
7 To be able to criticize the literature and information about the basic dynamics that are effective in political structuring in the Middle East.;
8 To be able to criticize the geoeconomic and geocultural foundations of the political structuring in the Middle East in the 19th and 20th centuries.;
9 To be able to criticize the geoeconomic and geocultural foundations of postcolonial political structuring in the Middle East;
10 To be able to criticize the geoeconomic and geocultural foundations of the political structuring of the BOP and “Arab Spring” process in the Middle East.;

2 Is the Middle East as a concept and place a geographical concept? Or is it a political concept?
3 Geopolitical, geoeconomic and geoculture concepts.
4 Geoeconomic and geocultural dynamics in the Middle East geopolitics.
5 Ibn Khaldun and the concept of "Ashabiyet" in understanding the Middle East geoculture.
6 Major belief systems in the Middle East and their social and political reflections.
7 The reflection of the racial social structure on the political order in the Middle East.
8 The recent history of the Middle East.
9 General lines of the Middle East geography.
10 General characteristics of the social and cultural structure of the Middle East.
11 The main fundamental dynamics influencing the political structuring of the Middle East.
12 Geoeconomic and geocultural foundations of the political structuring in the Middle East in the 19th and 20th centuries.
13 Geoeconomic and geocultural foundations of postcolonial political structuring in the Middle East.
14 Geoeconomic and geocultural criticism of the BOP and Arab Spring process in the Middle East.
