Objective of the Course:
In this course, the relationship between sociology and social theory is evaluated from the ideas of various sociologists. The concepts and approaches that sociology has borrowed from other disciplines and their theories are examined. In this context, it is discussed within the framework of the influence of social philosophers such as Nisbet, Turner, Habermas, Foucault whether sociology has transformed into social theory.
