19 Objective of the Course: To be able to recognize and manage emergency diseases
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development To be able to provide first aid in emergency situations
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To distinguish between urgent and non urgent patients.;
2 Ensuring critical patient stabilization. (airway, respiratory and circulatory stabilization).;
3 Diagnosis, differential diagnosis and treatment of internal emergency diseases.;
4 Learning the diagnosis, differential diagnosis and first treatment attempts of surgical emergencies.;
5 Learning the basic procedures (urinary catheter, N / G catheter, blood sampling, blood glucose measurement, airway opening, defibrillation, wound-burn dressing, suturing, etc.).;
6 To learn the fatal rhythms, Basic and Advanced Life Support and approach to the traumatic patient both theoretically and practically.;
7 Learning the emergency approach to the patient groups who most frequently apply to the emergency department (abdominal pain, chest pain, shortness of breath, headache, unconsciousness, shock, intoxications, minor emergencies);

Theoretical Practical
Approach to the emergency and critical patient (diagnosis, differential diagnosis, stabilization, treatment) and basic medical interventions (urinary catheter, N/G catheter, blood sampling, blood sugar measurement, airway opening, defibrillation, wound - burn dressing, suturation, etc.) .) is to be learned.
