19 Objective of the Course: To recognize the process of secession in Judaism and to identify major sects, to analyze the beliefs and practices of sects; to gain the ability to evaluate religions in religions as a universal phenomenon.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Reinforcing the History of Religions culture.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 The student acquires knowledge of internal divisions in religions.;
2 He grasps that the divisions are based on the political-social reasons rather than the theological differences.;
3 He classifies separations as orthodox, heterodox and heretical.;
4 He interprets the process of separation in religions through the example of Judaism.;
5 He recognizes and compares Jewish sects with basic beliefs and practices.;
6 He may describe being a member of a denomination in the frame of religious sciences with sense of belonging or other reason.;
7 He can objectively analyze the beliefs and practices of the sects through scientific research methods.;
8 He can generalize his limited analysis of Judaism to other religions in a holistic approach.;
