19 Objective of the Course: This course aims to teach classical Arabic semantics.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development To ensure that doctoral students are competent in the courses related to professional development they take during the course period so that they can start the thesis study process.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Knows early works on the language and meaning.;
2 Learns how was the influence of Qur’an interpretations on the arabic semantic studies.;
3 Understands the influence of the Hadith interpretation field on the semantic issues.;
4 Argues the contribution of the semantic fields works to the Arabic semantics.;
5 Learns the relation between the Azdad and Furuq works to the Semantics;
6 Studies the semantic changes issues.;
7 Knows the semantic restriction and semantic extension issues with the examples.;
8 Argues the existence of metaphorical usage in the Qur’an.;
9 Learns the usage of the metaphors in the Hadith.;
10 Studies near synonymy and homonym issues.;
