19 Objective of the Course: To trace the historical development of Muslim-Christian relations, and to establish more peaceful approach in the intra-religious relations.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development This course introduces the historical development of Muslim-Christian relations to the students who want to pursue postgraduate studies in this discipline.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 The student discerns the history and religious practices of Christian communities of Arabic Peninsula. ;
2 He analyzes Qur’anic view of Christians.;
3 He can trace historical development of Muslim-Christian relations in the various Muslim states and communities.;
4 He can trace historical development of Muslim-Christian relations in the various Muslim states and communities.;
5 He can evaluate the political activities of The Fener Rum Patriarchate before and during the Turkish war of independence. ;
6 He can discuss the The Fener Rum Patriarchate’ claim of its ecumenism.;
7 He can discuss the Matter of Theological School of Halki.;
