19 Objective of the Course: The aim of this course is to explain the methods, techniques and strategies used to gain new behaviors, increase appropriate behaviors and reduce inappropriate behaviors.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development At the end of the course, students will have the knowledge and skills required for behavior management.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Defines the basic concepts of the applied behavior analysis discipline.;
2 Describe the features of applied behavior analysis;
3 Determine and defines target behavior;
4 Explain the data collection techniques used for target behaviors.;
5 Graphs and interprets the data collected for target behavior.;
6 Explain the methods, techniques and strategies used to gain new behaviors.;
7 Explain the methods, techniques and strategies used to increase appropriate behaviors;
8 Explain the methods, techniques and strategies used to evaluate inappropriate behavior.;
9 Explain the methods, techniques and strategies used to reduce inappropriate behavior.;
10 Describes the steps of preparing a behavior change plan.;

3 Determining and defining tarhet behavior and writing behavioral goals
4 Recording target behaviors and observational data collection techniques
5 Instructional data collection techniques and reliability
6 Graphic and visual analysis
7 Increasing appropriate behavior: Reinforcement and reinforcements
8 Evaluation of reinforcements and reinforcement schedules
9 Teaching new behaviors: Prompts and shaping strategies
10 Functions of problem behaviors and functional assessment
11 Reducing problem behaviors: practices based on premises
12 Reducing problem behaviors: results-based practices
13 Other practices in reducing problem behaviors
14 Prepare a behavior change plan
