19 Objective of the Course: To introduce the music instruments of modern symphony orchestra according to their structural, technical and timbral features and to explain the timbral richness of renowned orchestral works with music examples.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Getting to know classical Western music instruments on a professional level.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Be able to distinguish between different timbres of solo instruments. ;
2 Be able to distinguish between different techniques of solo instruments. ;
3 Be able to distinguish between different timbres of chamber ensembles. ;
4 Be able to distinguish between different techniques of chamber ensembles. ;
5 Comprehend the technical innovation caused by structural development of instruments. ;
6 Comprehend the historical development of symphony orchestra.;
7 Be aware of structural development of the symphony orchestra. ;
