19 Objective of the Course: have the knowledge and skills required for the education of hospitalized children
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development It organizes healthy, safe and aesthetic learning environments. Prepares teaching materials suitable for the outcomes. Demonstrates the skills required for the education and training of the field. It ensures active participation of students in learning processes. It cooperates with relevant persons, institutions, organizations and colleagues in education and training activities. Has knowledge of students' development, learning characteristics and difficulties. Uses advanced information sources related to the field. Students' developmental characteristics, individual differences; Applies the most appropriate teaching strategies, methods and techniques taking into account the characteristics and achievements of the subject area. Develops materials suitable for the subject area and the needs of the student. Takes responsibility individually and as a team member to solve unforeseen and complex problems encountered in practice.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Understanding the developmental characteristics of hospitalized children according to age groups;
2 To be able to discuss the psychological needs of hospitalized children;
3 To be able to establish the interaction between the hospital staff, the child and the family;
4 Ability to support the child psychologically in the process of preparing for treatment or surgery;
5 To be able to prepare and implement activities for hospitalized children;
