19 Objective of the Course: To Have The Basic Knowledge for Turkish Religious Music
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development The student's general knowledge of culture increases and gains the ability to think analytically
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Learns the basic knowledge of Turkish religious music theory;
2 Knows musical notes and their values;
3 Understands the Turkish music sound ranges;
4 Gains knowledge of Turkish music maqams and forms;
5 He/She passes works from the Turkish religious music repertoire with the knowledge he/she has learned theoretically and takes them into her own repertoire;
6 Understands the Turkish music theory rhythms;
7 Learns the most commonly used rhythms in Turkish religious music;
8 He/She strikes the rhythms with her velvels and tries to read the works in these ways;
9 Have an idea about the history of Turkish religious music;
10 Recognizes and knows especially prominent composers;

9 Maqams end at the note Dügah
10 Maqam Segah and a musical piece as an example
11 Maqams end at the note Segah
12 Maqam Hicaz and a musical piece as an example
