19 Objective of the Course: This class will introduce undergraduate students to the basic bookbinding techniques, materials, processes, for creative bookbinding design progressing from simple to complex.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development It supports the formation of people who can produce versatile.

1 Explains the development. Of book binding in the historical process. ;
2 Designs original cover for the bookbinding.;
3 Applies bookbinding process. ;
4 Prepares binding-mold mechanism.;
5 Controls.the process by grouping pages during the binding.;
6 Makes varnishing to be resistant bookbinding.;

1 History of Bookbinding. Phases of Bookbinding. Examination of examples
2 Bookbinding at Turkish Handicrafts. Examination of Sample Images Roughing out of study
3 Making of Binding Covers. Cover making with Geometric Motifs. Supplying of Materials and Measuring. Roughing out of study
4 Ornamentation of Binding Covers. Binder Decoration
5 Samples of Ornamentation with Geometric Forms. Binder Decoration
6 Examining of Cover samples Ornamentation of cover
7 Implementation of Binding to Formwork. Preparation of Formwork.
8 Implementation of Binding to Formwork. Preparation of Formwork.
