19 Objective of the Course: Provide high performance level by instrument’s own repertoire and proper etudes, together with historical developments and origin of the instrument.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development It contributes to having technical knowledge and skills about the instrument that will be performed in her profession, and to be able to practice Turkish music.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To be able to get information about the history and origin of the instrument.;
2 To be able to learn types of the instruments in terms of sizes and physical features.;
3 To be able to get experience about traditional and new performance techniques on the instrument.;
4 To be able to learn performance pattern melodies and techniques that widely used of the instrument.;
5 To be able to learn different tunings through sample melodies.;
6 To be able to learn different tunings through sample melodies. To be able to get necessary information for using various instruments types together. ;
