19	Objective of the Course:	The objective of the course is to define the basic concepts related to management, to explain the main abilities and qualifications of managers, and to probe the historical process of management thought and the basic management functions.
20	Contribution of the Course to Professional Development	By introducing the basic concepts related to business and business administration, it is aimed to gain knowledge about the science of business and obtaining a comprehensive and holistic perspective on business administration.

Learning Outcomes:

1	To have basic theoretical knowledge related to management and managers;
2	Examining and analyzing managerial roles, abilities and capabilities ;
3	Understanding and questioning the historical process of management thought from past to present;
4	Understanding the basic and secondary management functions required for the effective and efficient management ;
5	To explain the meaning, objectives and the process of planning and organizing;
6	To explain the meaning and the objectives of directing and the chain of command and the conditions for the efficient directing system ;
7	To explain the meaning, objectives, the process of coordination and control and the management education methods;
