19 Objective of the Course: This course aims to provide students the globalization of culture and the vernacular reactions to the global culture and movements.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development To provide students with the theoretical knowledge that will understand and evaluate the implications of globalism on culture from different scientific and professional perspectives.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 The students will be able to identify the meaning of expression of culture. ;
2 The global dimensions of culture will be displayed to the students. ;
3 The students will be able to identify the orientalism from the vernacular reactions against to the global change of culture. ;
4 The students will be able to identify to the impacts of modernization on vernacular cultures. ;
5 The students will be able to identify culture-civilization distinction. ;
6 The students will be able to identify the culturalist dimensions of vernacular reactions. ;
7 The students will be able to identify the globalization assessments of vernacular reactions in Turkey.;
8 The students will be able to analyze the current political developments in the context of globalization. ;
