19 Objective of the Course: For researcher of the right meanings of the Qur’an today, it is necessary to learn the previous interpretations of the Qur’an [like the period of the Prophet, his friends (sahabah), the second generation (tabeen) and the third generation (atba’ at-tabeen)]. For this aim, this lesson has been put into M.A. program to learn to the student the understanding of the early exegesis period of the Qur’an.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To be able to comprehend the content of the relating exegesis of the Qur’an;
2 To know the literature of the relating exegesis of the Qur’an;
3 To able to comprehend the role of the Prophet in Qur’anic exegesis;
4 To be able to examine the role of the Prophet’s friends (sahabah) in Qur’anic exegesis;
5 To be able to examine the role of the second generation (tabeen) in Qur’anic exegesis;
6 To be able to know the differences that have been appeared about Qur’anic exegesis in time;
7 To learn that may be related from the same interpreter two or further interpretation about one verse of the Qur’an;
8 To comprehend that many related ideas may be strong or weak from the view of relating way;
9 To examine the problems that create the without related (non-sanad) ideas ;
10 To know the affections of the interpreters of the Qur’an from previous religious cultures;
