Objective of the Course:
The objective of this course is make the students gain knowledge about basic concepts related to memory and memory processes, theoretical approaches trying to clarify this field, types of memory, memory in aging processes and pathologies of memory.

Connectionist models of memory

The characteristics of encoding, storing and retrieving processes

Types of memory, the characteristics of short term and long term memory, differentiation between explicit and implicit memory

Semantic memory and its organization, cognitive models related to semantic memory

Flash memory, autobiographical memory, metamemory and source memory
