19 | Objective of the Course: | In this course, acquiring knowledges about Turkish-Greece relations to contribute Turkish foreign policy which is learnt by international relations students during undergraduate learning process is purposed. In this context primarily, Foreign Policy of Turkish Republic will be mentioned Greece based to construct substructure for topics that will be analysed in course and Historical progress of Turkish-Greek relations (Turkish-Greek relations in Ottoman Empire era, Greek Independence War, Balkan Wars, World War I, Treaty of Sèvres and Lausanne, Atatürk Era, İsmet İnönü Era, 1938-1945, 1945-1960 Era, 1960-1990 Era, Post-Cold War Era) will be explained. After explaining this backround, problematic areas/issues in Turkey-Greece relations which are determined, historical progress of these topics related to their contents, juridical thesis of sides will be examined in the context of actual aspects. |
