19 Objective of the Course: The objective of this course is to inform about historical base of Turkey-European Union (EU) relations, the legislation of this relations and the institutional structure established in accordance with this legislation
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development After graduating student uses the information on Turkey-European Union relations profession.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To be able to know historical background of relations between Turkey and EU;
2 To be able to know institutional structure established in consideration of association regime between EU and Turkey;
3 To be able to know competences and responsibilities according to the relations established with association regime between Turkey and EU;
4 To be able to know EU candidacy status between EU and Turkey;
5 To be able to know dispute solutions in consideration of association regime;
6 To be able to know resposibilities of Turkey according to its EU candidacy status;
7 To be able to know legal harmonization of Turkish law to the EU legal order (midterm exam);
8 To be able to know Constitutional regulations about delegation of authority to European Union;
9 To be able to know accession partnership (AP) document;
10 To be able to know full-membership negotiations process;

3 Institutional cooperation between Turkey and EU
4 Turkey’s application for full-membership to European Communities
5 Dispute solutions in consideration of association regime between Turkey and EU
6 Turkey’s candidacy status for EU membership
7 Analyse of Helsinki Summit conclusions for the relations between Turkey and EU
8 The effect of Copenhagen Summit conclusions to EU-Turkey relations
9 Turkey’s responsibilities that must be implemented as part of its candidacy status
10 Legal harmonization of Turkish law to the EU legal order
11 Turkish Constitutional regulations about delegation of authority to European Union
12 Accession partnership (AP) document
