19	Objective of the Course:	The aim of the course is to enable IR students analyzing the general global security needs and what kind of policies are carried out to respond them.

1 To be able to distinguish the fundamental concepts such as security, national security, global security, strategy and tactic; 2 To be able to demonstrate knowledge on contemporary security issues and discuss solutions to them; 3 To be able to analyze the weak and strong aspects of security strategies against the security risks and threats within the framework of legal and institutional structure; 4 To be able to make comparison between the security strategies of great powers and those of regional powers;
