19 | Objective of the Course: | In this course, political structure and diplomatic relations of Ottoman Empire will be explained as continuation of acquired basic Diplomatic History I-II courses and will be purposed to construct formations and substructures properly to international relations students to contribute other lessons taken from IR. Toward this purpose, primarily founding, rising, stagnation ve declining era of Ottoman Empire is explained then causes, progress and conclusions of these eras are analysed. After explaining these basic knowledges, political structure of Ottoman Empire and transformed processes of Ottoman Empire’s diplomatic relations are explicated and in this context, impacts on foundation of Turkish Republic and diplomatic heritages traced back to Ottoman Empire are analysed comparatively. |
