19	Objective of the Course:	Giving information about historical development, institutional structure, legislation and practices of the Turkish social security system, discussing problems and developing solutions
20	Contribution of the Course to Professional Development	To better understand the reasons for the legislative changes based on the problem sources of the Turkish social security system

Learning Outcomes:

1	Learning the historical development of the Turkish social security system ;
2	Learning the structure of the social security system that determines the economic, social and cultural factors, ;
3	Determining objectives and results of the our social security system practices ;
4	Awaring of the rights provided by the social security system ;
5	Learning the causes and consequences of the crisis leading to the Turkish social security system ;
6	Evaluating the results of the Turkish social security system reform efforts ;
7	Having opinions and suggestions on solving the Turkish social security system ;

2	Historical development (1): The traditional term, and applications (from foundations, funds and religious social assistance)
3	Historical development (2): Republican Term: 1923 to 1946
4	Historical development (3): Republican Term: 1946 to Present
5	The Institutional structure of the Turkish social security system: Social Security Institution, the Ministry of Social Policy and Family, Employment Agency
6	Social insurances (1): The scope of financing
7	Social insurances (2): Benefits and entitlements MIDTERM EXAM
8	The Ministry of Family and Social Policy and public social security spending
9	Social services: Children, the elderly and disabled persons services
10	Social assistances: for older, disadvantages groups, war-disabled persons and promote the foundations of social assistances and services
11	Social security applications for agriculture and rural areas
12	Supplementary social security institutions: private insurance, private pension and OYAK
13	Problems of the Turkish social security system: scope, financing, the level of rights
14	Discussing the reforms on our social security system
