19 Objective of the Course: To provide sufficient information on the political and social structure of the Hulefâ-i Râşidî, the Umayyads and the Andalusian Umayyads, to provide a perspective that can understand and evaluate the causes and consequences of the events that took place in these periods and to use the knowledge gained in contemporary issues.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development The student is aware that the history of Islam includes different historical experiences of many Muslim societies and that, together with the differences of these experiences, there is a great accumulation that should be utilized today. Compares and relates the knowledge gained in Islamic history with the information learned in other culture and field lessons.

2 Comprehend the Islamic History of Medina Period;
3 Hz. Have knowledge about the death of Hazrat Abu Bakr and Caliphate.;
4 Comprehends the period of Hazrat Abu Bakr;
5 Understand the Hazrat Ömer period;
6 Comprehends the Ottoman Empire;
7 Comprehends the period of Hazrat Ali;
8 Evaluate the Transformation of Caliphate to Sultanate and Establishment of Umayyads;
9 Students will have information about the Conquest Movements in the Umayyads, Internal Confusion and the Fall of Umayyads.;
