1 Comprehending the differences between generative and vegetative propagation methods;
2 Learning the propagation by seed in detail;
3 Getting basic knowledge about propagation by spores and its stages;
4 Learning the method of propagation by cuttings in detail;
5 Comprehending the method of layering in detail;
6 Being aware of the propagation methods used in the bulbous, tuberous and rhizomatous plants;
7 Comprehending the tissue culture propagation method in brief.;
8 Getting knowledge and experience in propagation by grafting-budding and the methods used;

1 Overall view of propagation methods Preliminary knowledge about practices
2 The concept of propagation by seed and its usage areas Demonstration of some seed samples
3 Fundamentals of propagation by seed, preliminary treatments, seed sowing Seed germinating practices, germination rate and germination index
4 Propagation by spores Demonstration of spores
5 Propagation by cuttings, importance and usage areas Demonstration of some cutting types
6 Main cutting-propagation methods Practice of rooting cuttings
7 Propagation by budding-grafting, main types of budding Applying T-budding
8 Main types of budding (cont.) Applying chip-budding
9 Main types of grafting Applying Veneer and bark graft
10 Propagation by means of layering, types of layering Layering application
11 Methods used in propagation with plant parts suitable to natural layering Applications related to the subject
12 Propagation of bulbous, tuberous and rhizomatous plants through division Applications related to the subject
13 Laboratory organisation in tissue culture, basic tissue culture methods Visit to a tissue culture laboratory
