19 Objective of the Course: To teach as theoretical and practical The structure of cattle breeding and morphological and physiological characteristics of the native and culture cattle breeds in the World and Turkey, the principle of dairy and beef cattle breeding, important cattle diseases and disease prevention and control for cattle

1 The student learns: morphological and physiological characteristics of the native and culture cattle breeds in the World and Turkey ;
2 structure of cattle breeding, selection and breeding methods, bull selection and bull index;
3 dairy and beef cattle breeding techniques;
4 management and practices of calf, heifer and cow breeding;
5 Management of beef cattle breeding;
6 production record keeping and controls in dairy and beef cattle breeding, important sheep and goat diseases, prevention of this diseases;
7 important diseases in dairy and beef cattle breeding, prevention and control for cattle diseases;
8 Herd management systems and animal welfare in dairy and beef cattle enterprises ;
